Because I have deep-set eyes, a lot of fat, and the distance between my eyebrows and eyelashes is short, they said that even if I did an incision method with an in-line double eyelid, my eyebrows would come down and I’d end up with a small inner double eyelid. They said epicanthoplasty was optional, but recommended doing it together. They drew the line and showed me. They said eye-muscle correction wasn’t necessary for my eyes. Since it was done under local anesthesia, they adjusted the line while I opened my eyes during surgery. The number of visits, excluding the surgery day, was 3: disinfection the day after surgery, double-eyelid stitch removal 3 to 4 days after surgery, and epicanthoplasty stitch removal 6 days after surgery.
