The order is director first, then manager. As soon as the consultation starts, the director asks a few light questions and then shows me a bunch of surgery cases and gives an overall briefing on eye surgery. At first I was a little taken aback, thinking, is he recommending all of these surgeries? But as I listened calmly, he specifically mentioned which surgeries he recommends, and the long explanations were very helpful for understanding the director’s style. In particular, I liked how he explained the surgical methods, side effects, and limitations of surgery in detail. The only downside was that he had a surgery appointment afterward, so I couldn’t actually ask the important questions ...
