Because it was a weekday evening consultation, it wasn’t crowded, and after filling out the chart, I waited alone in the consultation room right away, so it was very comfortable.
The consultation proceeded in the order of consultant-director-consultant. During the first consultation with the consultant, she asked if I had a preferred surgical method or design, wrote it down on the chart, and there was no design recommendation from the consultant.
The director personally drew the line and explained it, and recommended incision + ptosis correction (no canthoplasty). I’d heard this place recommends canthoplasty a lot, but they didn’t mention anything to me, so I asked separately, and they firmly said I didn’t need it.
Both the director and consultant were kind, and I went in thinking of it as my top choice, but I probably won’t do it here because of the ptosis correction. The price was over 2 million KRW, and there was a discount event.
2. Gangnam ㅇㅁㄹ
It really seems like a clinic that many people include on their consultation list. So it took a very long time to get a consultation appointment. The bigger problem was... the waiting time was so, so long! I booked a Saturday consultation during peak season, and by the time I finished everything and came out, it had taken over 3 hoursㅠ
Instead, the consultation with the consultant went quickly, and she told me in advance that the wait would probably be long and that it was okay to step out, so I went out and came back.
During the consultant consultation, they took photos, and it was good that the director looked at the photos while explaining my eye shape and the necessary surgical methods. Both the consultant and director recommended natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty.
The director consulted according to the direction I wanted to improve and kindly answered my questions, but as soon as the consultation ended, seeing them rush straight into the operating room made me hesitate a bit.. (I wondered, with them being this busy, will they look after me properly during surgery..)
The price was much cheaper than ㅇㅁㄷ, and they said natural adhesion was possible, so I’m considering it a bit more.
----- Since it’s my first surgery, I wanted to avoid incision, but the consultation results from the two places were different... so I’m going to consult at more places and then decide.
