I had my nose done two weeks ago at a place in Apgujeong that is fairly well known. It was raised with silicone, and the nasal tip was done with ear cartilage. I wanted a natural look, so I barely raised it and just made it like an average person's nose, you know? It was to the point that after the surgery, the doctor told me, later on, don't complain to me that your nose is too low.. But my body is originally the type that swells easily, and I did it together with epicanthoplasty, so I was quite swollen. They told me to do compresses diligently, so I did, and the bruising really did go away quickly. But starting the day after the tape was removed, my nose began swelling exponentially. Just like the nose on the plaster statues art entrance-exam students set up when drawing. It wasn't just swelling from surgery; only my nose kept getting higher and higher.. So I pressed on my nose, and my whole nose sank in, soft and squishy like one big jelly, and it was a complete mess. I just thought it must be because I'm the type who swells easily, and I endured it like that for another week. People said I looked like a monster.. The nurses weren't very kind either, so even if I went in saying I was very swollen, I felt like I would only hear nonsense like, "It's just because you swell a lot normally. Keep doing compresses more diligently," so I didn't go. But the swelling just would not go down.. So today I finally made up my mind and went. It was exactly 12 days after surgery. When I went, the doctor said... It seems like there may be inflammation in the nose.. why did you only come to the hospital now... ;;; Ah, I couldn't even curse, seriously, I held back tears. He said my entire nose was swollen far too badly. And that there was a high possibility of inflammation.. He interrogated me, asking whether I kept touching my nose, and I seriously wanted to hit him. When the doctor put the needle into my nose, fluid came pouring out.. -_-. The doctor drained the fluid with the needle, and beside him the nurse pressed hard on my nose to squeeze the fluid out.. It wasn't extremely painful, but I was worried.. When on earth is this swelling going to go down.. They told me to come to the hospital every day starting tomorrow to get injections.. How long on earth will this swelling last? It really seems like fluid keeps filling up; even after draining it, it fills again, and after draining it, it fills again.. Is there anyone else like me by any chance.. And what exactly does inflammation mean? Does it mean inflammation develops inside the nose? Then in the worst case, would they have to lift the nose again and treat the inside of the nose like a revision surgery..? I'm posting because I'm so worried. I want to die.. Please leave replies.. I'm shaking... ㅠㅠ
