I went because it’s a hospital known for revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage, and I felt their aesthetic sense matched mine. The hospital hasn’t been open long, so it was very clean and the facilities were good. The consultation was kind, and they explained things well and professionally. Maybe because they also do facial contouring surgery, they considered things like face shape and proportions when talking about the direction for improvement, which I liked. However, I’m a bit concerned about the fact that general anesthesia is required, and that I’ve already had autologous costal cartilage harvested once, but if necessary, they might have to harvest it once more. If this were my first autologous costal cartilage surgery, I think I would have done it here without hesitation.
