I left a review here saying they were very kind during the consultation, but I want to cancel it. They were only kind during the consultation, and when it came time for surgery, they got extremely irritated. I normally have normal blood pressure, but perhaps because of the ketamine anesthetic, my blood pressure rose during surgery and I bled a lot. Even though they knew I could hear after waking from anesthesia, they kept saying, “Ah!! Why is there so much blood?! Ah, seriously, why is there so much bleeding?” and got extremely annoyed.
I understand being irritated because the surgery was delayed and had to be done while stopping the bleeding, but they showed their irritation directly to my face over something that was not my fault, and I felt terrible because I just had to listen to it. Later, when they were suturing, much of the anesthesia had worn off, so I was in pain and could feel everything. Even when I said it hurt, they did not respond at all. I did not want to keep telling this person that I was in pain, so I just endured it.
Every now and then, they told me to open my eyes, but when I looked up while still barely able to open them, they got irritated again, saying, “Why are you looking somewhere else instead of at me? Ah, where are you looking?!” I thought, “How am I supposed to know where you are?” They were wearing black surgical glasses, like magnifying glasses, so I could not even tell where they were. I just looked upward roughly, but they became extremely angry because I was not looking straight ahead. Now I get annoyed even when I only see this person’s face on YouTube or Instagram.
My surgery was very late in the afternoon. I was not sure whether I was the third patient after two surgeries in the morning and afternoon, but then I saw them preparing to place an IV line for another surgery after me, sometime after 7 p.m. That made me think the information promoted here about performing two surgeries a day is not reliable enough to trust this place to that extent.
Of course, I still have to wait for the swelling around my eyes to go down, but for now it seems to have gone well, so I am satisfied. Separate from that, though, I do not want to recommend this clinic to people around me because of how they vented their irritation during the surgery, even if the result turns out well.
The staff were extremely kind and wonderful, just like in the other reviews.
