I always keep tension in my jaw, so I had pain in my TMJ and jaw muscles and went in for square-jaw Botox. They explained that if I was getting it because of muscle pain, I should also get it in the muscles on the sides of my temples, so I did, and the effect was good. If I had only gotten it in the lower jaw, the upper muscles might have worked even harder and made it hurt more, but getting injections in both areas really helped the jaw muscle pain a lot.
