I live in Chungcheong, but the reviews were so good that I traveled all the way to Daegu and just had the surgery there.. My philtrum was originally about 2 centimeters long, and I am not the type to research very thoroughly before doing something, so I had a same-day consultation and went straight into surgery that day. They said reducing it by about 7 mm would be best, and since the expert would know best, I only had surgery on the inner part of the philtrum. I drove there, so I did not have sleep anesthesia and instead had local anesthesia, but for some reason I hardly swelled at all.. Not on the day of surgery, and not afterward either.. They said it was not a surgery that tends to swell much in the first place.. It just felt like my philtrum got a little thicker. I am not someone who usually scars easily, but because the philtrum moves so much from talking and eating, I did end up with some scarring, so I got laser treatment first. It has been a month, and they told me to come back this week for a scar tissue injection and another laser treatment. They said it was not severe scarring compared with other people.. My philtrum is definitely much shorter, but because of the scar, it still does not feel clean and neat.
