Had surgery 10 years ago. I’m satisfied with the buried suture method, but I’ve been suffering until now from side effects of epicanthoplasty. Because of the under-eye smile line discontinuity and indentation that were visible right after the stitches were removed, I’ve been looking into restoration for 10 years. Planning to have restoration surgery this year. The double-eyelid surgery is fairly okay. I don’t recommend epicanthoplasty. I don’t recommend lower blepharoplasty; my mom had it done.
