Since it was a general hospital, I requested an outpatient appointment. After the consultation, I decided on “dermis.” They used dermis from my buttock, and the cartilage was harvested from inside my nose. The surgery was scheduled for 7:30 a.m. the next day. Due to various circumstances, I couldn’t postpone the date. The maximum time I had was one week, including the day of surgery. From the next day onward, no matter what, I had to work. First: Where was the dermis taken from, and does it leave a scar? The dermis was taken from the buttock. To be precise, from the area just above the anus upward along the buttock. You know the area where the two buttocks divide. The dermis was harvested from there. Because it was taken from the cleft of the buttocks, the scar is not visible to others. Second: Does it hurt when they remove the buttock dermis? It only stings a little during anesthesia. When the dermis is being removed, the doctor said, “It will hurt a little”... You just need to endure it for a few seconds. The surgery first involved removing the buttock dermis, then proceeding with the nose surgery. Third: Does nose surgery hurt? It “stings” during anesthesia. It hurts for about 1 second. Since they give anesthetic injections in a few places, it only hurts then, and there is no feeling of pain during the surgery. After the surgery, I came home by taxi. I didn’t even wear a hat. When I got home, I did ice compresses. As I wrote a few days ago, from the afternoon of the 3rd day after surgery, the swelling started to go down, and by this morning, the 5th day (Monday), the swelling had gone down enough that I thought I could go to work if I just removed the tape. On the second day, the area around my eyes swelled up a lot, and on the third day the swelling moved down toward my cheeks. On the fourth day, the swelling in my cheeks and chin also went down. I’m going to the hospital today. I’ll post another review again. Oh, right. About the area where the buttock dermis was taken. After surgery, sitting is only a little uncomfortable. If you sit with one buttock slightly lifted, there’s no problem. This coming Wednesday (the 14th), I’ll have the stitches removed. Both the nose and the buttock. The doctor said that once the stitches are removed, it’s okay to wear makeup and go around. Now I’m just waiting for the day I can remove the tape, put on pretty makeup, and go out.
