In 2015, when I was a senior in high school, I had my first double eyelid surgery. At that time, I was living outside Seoul, so I thought going all the way to Seoul would be too much, and I went around to about 3 clinics in Seomyeon, Busan before having the surgery. My criteria were a place that was not a factory-style clinic churning people out, but one that would make it suit the individual and was kind. Because I had a lot of flesh on my upper eyelids, they said partial incision or non-incisional buried suture wouldn’t work and that I absolutely had to do full incision, so I did it. Maybe because my eyes were originally uneven, even after ptosis correction, only the size was the same, and the actual eye shape continued to be uneven. And not even 5 months…
