It’s been 10 years since I had epicanthoplasty, anyway it’s been a long time, and the hooked scar at the inner corner of the eye on the left side in the photo was insanely, insanely, insanely stressful. I hated that it made my impression look fierce, but when I wore makeup it was still tolerable. And above all, depending on the lighting, the scar sometimes looked less visible and sometimes looked more prominent, so I was just living with it, then I found out about epicanthoplasty restoration. I went around to other hospitals too, but at one hospital, during the consultation, the doctor said that too, and should I say that reactions like “100% improvement no matter what” felt even more off-putting. Then the hospital where I had surgery now …
