I had it done yesterday

I had surgery to raise my nasal bridge. I didn’t even have a consultation; I just heard about it, made a reservation, and decided to have the consultation on the day and then go straight into surgery, for my nose and eyes. But... sob sob The area I wanted most was my eyes.. My eyes have ptosis and a lot of fat, so they look very swollen... The doctor looked at them and told me not to do my eyes. He said if I had done them when I was twenty, they might have looked pretty, but now it’s too late to get those pretty eyes, and that even with plastic surgery, my eyes could never look pretty. You know how middle-aged women’s double eyelids look unnatural and awkward.. He said my eyes could only turn out like that. He said my skin is thick, the width is narrow, it’s sagging, and my eyeballs are protruding too.. sob sob, these cursed eyes.. He said he would do it if I wanted, but his opinion was that I should do it much later in life, at an age when it wouldn’t be that embarrassing even if they looked unnatural and awkward. He showed me weird photos, saying my eyes would turn out like this if I had eye surgery, and I honestly didn’t have the courage to walk around with eyes like that. So I just did what he recommended and only raised my nasal bridge. Reading posts in this community made me really scared of anesthesia, but for me, only the first anesthetic injection stung, and after that it didn’t hurt. More than the anesthesia, I was distressed by the sound of scraping between the nasal bone and the flesh. I had heard a lot that if you tense your face, you’ll bruise, so I kept telling myself to take “deep breaths” and exhale so I wouldn’t tense up. During surgery, I also chatted with the doctor about this and that.. Compared to how long I had agonized over it, it ended so uneventfully. I didn’t like having cotton stuffed in my nose, so I just removed it; it didn’t bleed. The surgery ended around 11, then I went with a friend to Minto, ate the lunch course, hung out, watched “Rules of Dating” (Park Hae-il was so oily, Kang Hye-jung was charming), and walked around until about 10 p.m. They say it’s good to walk around a lot^^ Yesterday I didn’t swell at all, and the bandage on my nose wasn’t too noticeable, so it was easy to go around, but when I woke up today, the area around my eyes and everything was pretty swollen. I put a towel in the refrigerator to do an ice compress. I need the swelling to go down quickly.
