This is my review after getting revision incisional ptosis correction surgery at Top Tier Plastic Surgery. I thought it might help even a little for people who are considering revision eye surgery like me, so it’s a bit long, but I’m writing it carefully.
I first found out about Top Tier while looking up revision surgery reviews, and unusually, all of them were exactly my style. There was a bit of a wait for the consultation, and I remember it went in the order of consultation with the consultant first, then the director.
The director looked at the condition of my eyes really thoroughly and explained in detail ✔️ why my eyes looked the way they did now ✔️ why an incision was needed ✔️ how much ptosis correction should be done. That part was really reassuring. I had been most worried that the line would become too thick or that my impression would look too strong after surgery, but I liked that he reflected the overall image I wanted while still correcting what needed to be corrected.
On the day of surgery, I was so nervous that my heart was pounding, but the staff guided me kindly, so I calmed down a bit. The anesthesia was more comfortable than I expected, and when I woke up, the surgery was already over. Right after surgery, there was swelling, of course, but even then, the line looked neater than I had expected, so I felt relieved.
In the beginning, I mostly had tightness and swelling, and I had almost no severe pain. I did cold compresses diligently as instructed, slept with my head elevated, and avoided salty foods as much as possible. The swelling went down quite a lot after about a week, and after the stitches were removed, my eyes felt much lighter.
Now that some time has passed, the line has settled much more naturally, and most of all, my eyes open more clearly, so even when I look in the mirror, I feel that my impression looks much cleaner. Before, my eyes looked sleepy and the line was uneven, so I had a lot of stress, but now I’m really satisfied because my eyes look more defined without needing much makeup.
If I had to summarize the reason I liked Top Tier, it would be that they don’t just make the line high, but they look at each person’s eye structure and impression and plan accordingly. Since revision eye surgery is not a first surgery, I think it’s important to get a really detailed consultation. For anyone considering revision eye surgery, I recommend definitely going to a consultation and comparing properly before deciding!
