While looking into rhinoplasty, it seemed like costal cartilage lowered the chance of revision rhinoplasty, so I decided I should have surgery with costal cartilage. Later, when I learned about donor costal cartilage, I thought I definitely had to use donor costal cartilage for several reasons. There was talk that autologous costal cartilage leaves a large scar that doesn't go away easily, and they also said that removing ear cartilage or autologous costal cartilage hurts much more than the nose surgery itself. And I saw posts saying it's also really uncomfortable to move around, so I gave up on autologous costal cartilage and only looked into donor costal cartilage. Also, the fact that donor costal cartilage is a little cheaper than autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty...
