I had surgery on the 27th, so today is day 5.. In the post below, I counted the day of surgery as one day too, so I counted wrong.. When I woke up this morning, a large red bruise had appeared diagonally from my left wrist to the back of my elbow. I never bumped it, so I was really shocked.. They did insert the injection needle a couple of times on the left side when I had general anesthesia.. The bruise from that appeared on the first day and has almost disappeared now, but I really can't understand why this large-area bruise appeared this morning. I called the hospital, and they said that about 5 days after surgery, there shouldn't be any reason for bruising to appear.. It's not painful or causing any major problem, but I'm a bit worried because it appeared for no reason~ I'm curious whether people who had jaw surgery have also had this kind of experience~
