It's been 21 days since I had surgery on my jaw, cheekbones, and chin tip. When does the swelling usually go down?? And when I touch the right side of my jaw, it feels smooth, but when I touch the left side of my jaw, I feel something sticking out. Could it be that I'm still swollen, so it clearly feels like something is protruding? And when I touch that protruding part, it feels like something is moving. I originally had fairly severe facial asymmetry. Just looking at it, because it's still swollen, it doesn't show, but when I touch it, it feels like something is sticking out. Why could that be? And when can I stop wearing the compression band? Also, I don't sleep lying straight on my back; I sleep on my side. Could that possibly be related?
