I'm a total newbie who had nose surgery less than a week ago, and after reading online about side effects and things like a silicone smell, I got scared. So I'm thinking I want to have it removed, even if not right away. For now, I had functional nasal surgery, including surgery for a deviated septum, bulbous nose correction, a slight hump reduction, and 1 mm silicone inserted. For the nasal tip, ear cartilage was used, and I asked them to make it look as natural as possible. In this state, if I remove only the silicone, will a step-off form? Also, since the cartilage was repositioned during the septal surgery, removing only the silicone won't cause deformation, right? And as for the slight hump reduction, since it was shaved down...

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
