Hello! ^-^ It's already been 3 days since I posted that I was getting cheekbone surgery and paranasal augmentation. I had surgery on Monday, and today I had the stitches removed. The surgical method was non-fixation, and from what the doctor said, for the front cheekbone he lightly shaved it down (;), and for the side cheekbone he said he would break it (;; ) and push it in. So he told me to press the area about 45 degrees under the eyes twice a day. He said it needs to settle into place. When I first heard it, I was like, what on earth is this! and was freaking shocked! Understandably, since it's non-fixation, the bone hasn't fused yet, so I can feel it move, and that feeling is really .. I don't know how to explain it -_-; Still, the doctor pressed so firmly without any fear. For the past 3 days while I had the bandage on, I thought I was going to die. Even until this morning I was so severely swollen that I thought even if you combined Dooly and Shin-chan, it wouldn't look as funny as this. And then the bandage was finally removed, but it looked even worse. My face was so round I nearly fainted.ㅋ I was really startled, laughing, and in shock, then walked home a bit; since it had been a while since I went out(?) in bright daylight, it felt nice and there was a gentle breeze. And I didn't know how to get pumpkin juice, so I bought porridge at a convenience store. Right now I can open my mouth well, but chewing hurts a bit. Also, I don't know if the swelling-reduction injection and laser treatment are working, but although my cheeks are still pretty chubby, compared with the morning, the swelling is going down a lot. Now the war is finally starting. The nurse (? maybe younger than me ㅋ) said everyone feels like they are the most swollen. I think that's true. I was frustrated, but I'm enduring it by thinking, at least the bandage is off. But why is it so annoying to microwave the warm compress? It cools down so quickly. For those who had cheekbone surgery, after how many days did the major swelling go down? The hospital said it varies by person, but the major swelling should be gone in about 2 weeks. Ugh~ I'm bored, so I'm posting this. Everyone, I hope you all become prettier.
