Next, clinic O. This place isn't famous in this community, but my mom's friend's daughter had it done here and it turned out well, so I made an appointment and went. It seemed like they were known for doing revision surgeries well. They said I needed to shave the hump and put in silicone. There were really a lot of people, but the director's consultation wasn't very tempting. The day I went was Monday, and it seemed like the director had drunk heavily on Sunday. But unlike clinic J, there were really many people, and they all seemed to be surgical patients. Still, since I somehow have an aversion to silicone, I just shook my head and left. Then D. I wanted to consult with Director Park, but he was in surgery so I couldn't. I consulted with the consultant, and she said I could either shave the hump and use Gore-Tex, or not shave the hump and put injections into the nasal bridge and below the hump, and just touch up the nasal tip. But how can I just listen to what a consultant says? Since I couldn't see the director at D, it was really not great, and I didn't feel like doing it there. When I mentioned facial asymmetry, she said things like reducing one side with radiofrequency and getting fat-dissolving injections on the other. Then clinic C. The director is my mom's style, so for no reason I felt I could trust him. Also, he didn't seem too inexperienced. I somehow feel that when a doctor is young, they have less experience, so I don't like that. Anyway, he mentioned osteotomy and said he would raise the bridge as naturally as possible by about 2.5 mm with Gore-Tex and cut the bony hump. Since I want a natural and soft impression, I liked it, and it seemed to match my wish for a surgery that covers my flaws. Lastly, I also had a consultation with a professor at Seoul National University Hospital. My mom had booked a special consultation that cost 19,500 won. I think she felt sorry that when I was about 1 year old I fell badly down the stairs, but they thought I was okay and didn't take me to the hospital. Since every hospital says my nasal bone had been injured, my mom is trying somehow to fix it. Here, they talked about a really major surgery. Something like cutting the nasal bone horizontally to do foundational work to realign the bone, and then doing the cosmetic part as a second-stage surgery. They say the professor is very famous, but when I entered the exam room, four junior doctors were watching. So much pressure -_- Anyway, I nearly fainted when Seoul National University Hospital said to do a second surgery. Of course I got scared in advance of general anesthesia, and while receiving treatment, everyone looked like traffic accident patients with their faces wrapped round and round in bandages like mummies, so I was terrified. Now I have to decide. I'm leaning toward clinic C. Natural is good, after all. I'm going abroad to study in August, so I need to do it soon, but I'm worried.
