I had full incision + epicanthoplasty yesterday~

I had surgery at 5 yesterday. After reading reviews here, I got so incredibly scared.. I was even thinking maybe I shouldn’t do it right up until I went in for surgery.. I’m really easily scared.. People tell me I exaggerate pain a lot too.. Anyway, from the morning, from the moment I opened my eyes, I was trembling... It was driving me crazy.. The director and nurses reassured me, saying it absolutely wouldn’t hurt and not to worry. But none of the nurses held my hand~ I was secretly hoping they would.. My hands and feet were completely frozen. The surgery started, and when they did sleep anesthesia, just like so many people here said, it really was a strange fourth-dimensional world~~ It wasn’t particularly unpleasant or pleasant, just weird. lol Maybe you could call it a new experience.. lol I tried really hard to breathe deeply and relax so I wouldn’t bruise as much as possible.. Maybe that’s why I don’t seem bruised. They had music on, but once I was under sleep anesthesia, I couldn’t hear the music at all. It was fascinating~ And people said there would be a lot of smell too, so I breathed through my mouth.. lol Since I kept my eyes closed almost the whole time, I couldn’t really feel the needle passing through either. I only thought good thoughts and did that, and then somehow they said the surgery was already over. It finished in 40 minutes.. They said it would take 1 hour, but it ended sooner than expected. I was worried because people said epicanthoplasty hurt so much too, but it didn’t hurt at all.. I guess it’s the director’s skill lol Maybe because I had worried so much, it really didn’t hurt (I think the sleep anesthesia had the biggest effect~), and even after coming out of surgery, they said I didn’t look that scary~ I was surprised~ I was too scared to even look in the mirror, so I only looked after I got home.. lol (I even took the bus home, a 40-minute ride.) My mom was surprised lol at how calm I was.. She said she thought I would cry... My younger sibling cried a lot when they had the buried-suture method, saying it hurt like crazy.. Came home by taxi.. (No sleep anesthesia) Anyway, I only have a slight bruise along the line on one side, and none at all on the other side, and I like the epicanthoplasty too~ They said it would swell after a day, but I kept doing ice compresses like my life depended on it, so the bruising disappeared right away, and when I went to the clinic today, the doctor praised me too~ He said because I worked hard on compresses, I was less swollen than expected...^^ I don’t have a camera right now, so I’m thinking of borrowing one and uploading photos~ Please give me your evaluation then~ ^^; Everyone, don’t get too scared because of the posts here, and keep your mind at ease~ Sleep anesthesia seems okay, so if you’re easily scared and tend to exaggerate pain a bit, I highly recommend it~~
