Today was finally the surgery day I had been waiting and waiting for! I procrastinated from the morning.. browsing Cyworld, and ended up late T -T I was late and rushed through the design, but I didn't even get to see it and went straight into surgery!! (So unfair..T-T) As soon as I went in, the nurse covered me with a blanket because I came wearing a skirt~ After putting my hair all up, she said she would disinfect my face with something like gauze~ They told me to keep holding some kind of board during surgery! After finishing all the disinfection, they covered me with a cloth where only my eyes showed, and started preparing for surgery~ Ah.. from then on it really felt real!! When the doctor came in, I got really nervous. I tried to keep myself as relaxed as possible and have a comfortable mindset! I'll tell you about the anesthesia that many people are curious about^^ For reference, I'll first tell you about my type! Ever since I was young, I never cried even when getting shots, and I even grew up hearing that I was tough. So even when it hurts, I can't say it hurts. Something like that? Anyway, the nurse said, 'The anesthesia is going in~ it'll sting a little,' and then I thought exactly this: 'These eyes are not your eyes.. you've thrown your eyes away..' I thought that! (It sounds funny, but it helped psychologically~ for me!!) The anesthesia.. it just stung a little and was bearable? Also, because I was afraid of bruising, I tried to be as relaxed as possible.. think about other things, and release all my tension! (Thanks to that^^ I didn't bruise.) When they did the right side.. for some reason the doctor kept poking around on the right side.. the right side hurt a bit. Right now, pinch a little bit of skin on your eyelid hard! I think you can imagine it as a little more painful than that^^ I tried to roughly get a sense of what anesthesia would feel like, so before surgery I kept pinching myself like that, and it was slightly more than that feeling? should I say it stings? For people who are more sensitive, you can assume it hurts a bit^^ Just as there are individual differences.. If you're someone who says, I tolerate pain well! I think you'll handle it easily~ Just enjoy the moment. It doesn't even take 3 seconds~~ just think, fine, 3 seconds, that's nothing, it'll hurt enough to make me tear up once and then be over~^^ And.. that dazzling light everyone talks about is really annoying.. it was so bright that tears kept coming out! After anesthesia, I think they did the epicanthoplasty first.. Because of the anesthesia I couldn't feel it, but you know the feeling of pulling the skin to cut the suturing thread? That feeling is really unpleasant, should I say? It's kind of not good.. As expected, the sound effects were incredible.. Oh, and they seemed to cauterize something with electricity, and there was a 'tick.. ti-tick!' sound.. I don't know what they were cauterizing or doing.. but that sound wasn't very pleasant either~ When making the incision and doing the epicanthoplasty! scissors, the sound of scissors cutting cloth? sak.. sak.. snip.. It makes sounds like that^^ it made me feel strange for no reason.. anyway, I didn't like this the entire time during surgery, seriously~ And I thought they were only doing the incision and epicanthoplasty.. But suddenly.. 'We'll remove some fat now, it may feel a bit stiff and sore,' they said~ for a moment, oh my... ⊙0⊙ Even when removing fat, rather than feeling pain, should I say it felt like my eye was being pulled? The feeling of fat removal was more unpleasant~ I could hear the sound of the fat moving up through the tube.. Ugh.. that feeling and sound were really~ To the point I thought, I'll never have surgery again.. After removing the fat.. it seemed like they were stitching with thread.. They pulled the skin one by one and cut the thread with a snip.. I really hated how that felt~ Still.. they played music.. so that was nice, but they didn't say a single word to me, so I was bored during the surgery (I wanted to say, I'm bored to death T-T!!) The doctor kept telling me to open my eyes.. made adjustments~ and then it ended in 1 hour^^ The nurses complimented me, saying I endured it well! The doctor also said it turned out well^^ But.. I wonder if it's a little thinner than I wanted, so I'm a little grumpy? Still, I'm about 80% satisfied^^ If I'm this satisfied, I guess it's a success~ For those about to have surgery... Don't think it will hurt too much.. If you just endure the anesthesia well, I think the surgery itself will end safely^^ When you pinch, pinching a small bit of skin and pinching a thick amount are different, right? Try grabbing a thin layer of eyelid skin and pinching it hard! You can think of it as hurting slightly? more than that^^ Oh right.. The feeling when the anesthesia wears off.. is a bit difficult and painful. I'm the type who can't tolerate ongoing pain.. And because my family was next to me, I relaxed, so maybe it hurt more~ I kept wriggling around.. and kept saying that it hurt~ After taking medicine, it was much better^^.. Anyway, I also read reviews from people in this community and got a lot of information.. they helped me a lot.. I hope people who are about to have surgery now also get a lot of help from this review! (Though I don't think I wrote it in that much detail T-T) If you want to know more details about the anesthesia, message me^^ I'll post another review later after I get my stitches removed.
