I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery a month ago. I think the major swelling was all gone in 2 weeks, and even before that, if I didn’t say anything, people didn’t know; it was just to the extent that they might think I looked tired. Anyway, maybe because it was the buried-suture method, the swelling wasn’t as bad as I expected, and there was almost no bruising, so after the surgical stitches were removed, I was able to go straight back to daily life. They told me to keep doing cold compresses and keep practicing opening my eyes upward, so I’m still doing that now, and the swelling has gone down a lot.
