I’m now on day 13 after nose surgery, and when I sleep, the inside of my mouth gets so dry that I wake up after only a few hours. It’s not just a little dry; the inside of my mouth and throat are completely parched. My nose isn’t even blocked, so am I breathing through my mouth while sleeping? Why is this happening? Will it go back to normal? I’m so scared because I don’t know how long this will last, and I’m wondering if there’s any way to fix it. Has anyone here experienced this? I’m so scared it’ll be like this for the rest of my life.
