Maybe because I had the surgery without fixation pins in my jaw, my recovery has been somewhat on the faster side. In the beginning, the swelling and bruising didn’t last as long as I expected, and now I think it looks natural without anything feeling too awkward. It does seem like the major swelling has gone down, but there’s still some residual swelling left, so once that goes away, my face will probably look even smaller. Since this still isn’t the final result, I’m planning to keep watching it a bit longer.
