I was very swollen and had a headache. Still, once the packing came out, I felt so much more comfortable. My nose was throbbing and runny nose made The stitches sting a bit, but it was bearable. The pain was manageable with painkillers. Even then, I thought it would look pretty once the swelling went down. The first one to two weeks after nose surgery are the hardest, but once you get through that part, it gets better. There was bruising, and I could feel some pulling and a bit of pressure, but I kept waiting, thinking time would heal it.
Week 2
Even in the second week, there was still a lot of swelling. The bruising was better than in the first week, but it was still there in the second week too. To reduce the swelling faster, I walked and drank pumpkin juice, and it is gradually going down.
Week 3
The swelling had gone down a lot, and the line started to show. There was still a little bit of pressure and some bruising, but it had improved a lot. My ears hurt a little too, but my nose got higher and I felt more confident. The swelling still needs to go down more, but I am satisfied even now.
Week 4
The line has settled in a lot. Once the bruising and swelling were all gone, more people started telling me they did not even realize I had surgery, and that my nose is pretty and high. Makeup became more fun, and it is fun to dress up my face. The scar is fading, but I want it to fade faster, so I am applying ointment carefully. I am still satisfied up to now.
