I had open rhinoplasty using autologous cartilage and septal cartilage. But on the first day, my eyes swelled up so badly they were stuck shut and wouldn’t open, so I just couldn’t see anything lol. Now I’m on day 6, but why are my eyes and face swelling and bruising like crazy more than my nose? I’m really doing everything, using warm/cold compresses and diligently taking and applying my meds, but the clinic hasn’t contacted me at all and just tells me to keep doing compresses. When you get rhinoplasty, does your whole face normally swell much worse than your nose and get bruising all over your face?
