I had revision surgery.. For those whose swelling hasn't gone down, take a look

I haven't visited this community in a long time.. 6 months ago I had incisional surgery + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction (the ptosis correction was only on the right side..) Even after 6 months, the swelling was completely gone on the right side, but the left side was still swollen.. it was so puffy, like a sausage, so I had revision surgery. The doctor said there didn't seem to be ptosis on the left side, but since the swelling still hadn't gone down even after 6 months, it must be because of the ptosis, and that it would improve if corrected, so while we were at it, he said we should operate on both sides. (The doctor said people with ptosis can end up with a hidden double eyelid and it can come undone quickly..) After hearing that, I didn't want to do revision surgery because I knew it would hurt, but since the hospital would cover the cost, I decided to do it. I had the surgery today, and as expected, because it was revision surgery, it hurt so, so much.. What's more, the anesthesia wore off, so the right side was stitched while the anesthesia had worn off (it was bearable. Just a stinging sensation.) and the left side was impossible to endure, so in the middle I got another anesthetic shot..ㅠ.ㅠ (You probably know that pain without me saying it.) So the left side is even more swollen, and I even got bruised. If your swelling still hasn't gone down even after 6 months, go ask at the hospital.
