I’m getting my splint removed tomorrow, so before taking it off, I’m just casually writing a plain review about swelling and aftercare. The clinic I went to finished all the hemostasis before I came out, so they didn’t put nasal packing cotton in. I slept lying down. What I had done: hump reduction, osteotomy, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, cutting the depressor septi nasi muscle. Day of surgery, day 0, 1/25: pain 0… I just had no sensation. Felt like my teeth hurt a bit. Day 1, 1/26: nose felt numb and tingling, like I’d swallowed swimming pool water. Toothache was really bad. I thought my teeth were going to fall out. There wasn’t much swelling. Day 2, 1/27: red bruising, swelling started to come up. A little toothache. Day 3, 1/28: the red swelling disappeared and there was a little yellow swelling …
