Can the line change after removing the stitches..?

I had an in-out line, but I wanted to change it to a semi-out line, so I had revision surgery. But during the surgery, the director said they’d try their best, but a semi-out line might be difficult. For now, the line I came out with today and the canthoplasty stitches look well done as a semi-out line, but after the stitches are removed, could it come down to an in-out line…
