A review from 2 years later! I have small, slit-like eyes, so I really, really wanted canthoplasty. My eyes also seemed to turn upward. I already had a double-eyelid crease.
I made a reservation at the clinic, paid the deposit, and visited. On the day of surgery, I paid in cash; they said bank transfer wasn't possible!
The doctor only says what needs to be said. Dry. No upselling. The manager was average in kindness.
During surgery, they told me to look up, sideways, and down and said I must not close my eyes ㅎㅎ but this was really hard. They said they would do a lateral canthoplasty and lower the outer corners, and there was a burning smell in between!
On the first day, the stitches really didn't show at all ㅎ very satisfied The next day there was blood in one white of the eye ㅜㅜ it didn't hurt, so I was moderately satisfied After that, the burst blood vessels gradually disappeared and the stitches were removed (felt refreshing)
It wasn't dramatically opened up (my eyes were never going to become that kind of eye anyway), but I'm still living with it reasonably satisfied..
