Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Three days after surgery..

I had surgery on Wednesday around 4 p.m. I only had the bridge (silicone) and tip (AlloDerm) raised through a closed approach.. I took photos and met the doctor.. He didn’t say a word and drew on my nose in an instant, then told me to get ready.. I was a bit taken aback, but I trusted the doctor.. He’s such an experienced doctor, so I believed he would take care of everything well.. When I got onto the operating table, my whole body was shaking... I had just come from getting moles removed, so I was worried the mole tape would fall off. Once I was on the operating table and covered up, I felt calm. I had sedation anesthesia, but I didn’t experience some otherworldly dimension.. I asked, “When do I fall asleep?” and they said local anesthesia was already done.. I had only closed my eyes for a moment and opened them, and already so much time had passed.. After the local anesthesia, they waited a bit and then started the surgery. At this point I was wide awake. Of course, I was scared, so I kept my eyes closed. I could feel the doctor working on the silicone over my stomach. While saying, “I’ll do an anesthesia test,” I could feel him poking my nose. Then I heard unpleasant sounds. The sound of bone being scraped to make the passage for the silicone.. ugh.. They quickly inserted the silicone, and the tip work was over in an instant. Before I knew it, they were stitching me up.. The surgery itself seemed to take less than 10 minutes. I didn’t see my face after the operation. Before I knew it, the support was in place and tape was stuck all over. I went to the recovery room and got laser swelling treatment.. Because I was on vacation, I intentionally stayed one night in the hospital to shorten the recovery period.. I was told the first 24 hours after surgery are the most important.. I had an eye pressure bandage on and got laser treatment almost all day. Then I was discharged yesterday afternoon.. Believe it or not, there’s no bruising or swelling at all. It’s still day 3 now, and I haven’t swollen at all.. I’m worried because it’s almost too little swelling. Right now I’m doing cold compresses frequently.. Before sleeping, I put a towel over my eyes and definitely wear the pressure bandage. They said to keep the bandage on for a week.. They said this method is best for preventing swelling. I’m really the type to exaggerate and I’m very scared.. Back in high school, having three stitches in my knee was the biggest surgery I’d had, and I almost fainted. But after nose surgery, it feels like it’s nothing at all. It doesn’t hurt at all and it was manageable. My mom and friends said I’m tough..ㅋㅋ But what I’m worried about is that I have absolutely no sense of what shape my nose is in. I feel like I only raised it a tiny bit, so I’m a little disappointed too.. The doctor seems very confident. Well, that hospital is famous, and it has lots and lots of patients.. I really want to see what it looks like as soon as the tape comes off. If it looks pretty, I’ll upload photos later too.. Everyone, become beautiful~~~~
