I’m looking into complete removal of old L-shaped silicone and ear cartilage that have been in place for over 15 years, but I was told contracture could occur, so I was also recommended the option of adding cartilage to the nasal tip, and I’m debating it. Of course, I thought there would be no other surgery in my life, so I was considering complete removal, but after hearing about nasal tip depression or upturned-tip contracture, I’m conflicted. I’m scared that it might look completely strange aesthetically, but I’m also scared that adding nasal tip cartilage using septal cartilage could cause more side effects. I had the surgery a long time ago when I didn’t know anything, but now I’m scared of both options, so it’s so hard to decide…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
