Review after consultations at Apgujeong ㄷㄹ, ㅇㅇㅎ, ㅇㅇㅇ

I’ve had buried-suture double eyelid surgery twice, and it keeps coming undone every 4-5 years, so I went around looking into a third revision surgery.

1. The clinic where I had my first surgery and revision was Apgujeong ㄷㄹ Even though it came undone once, the line was so pretty and it truly didn’t look like I’d had surgery at all, so no one knew I’d had it done. So I had the revision there too, but it came undone again lol Since it keeps coming undone, I didn’t really want to do it there, but since it was the clinic I’d gone to before, I went anyway. It was my first consultation round, so I felt like I should go. Here, you can only see the director once you’ve confirmed the surgery and it’s the day of surgeryㅡㅡ I had a meaningless conversation with the consultant, and in the end it was buried-suture again. This clinic basically only does buried-suture surgeryㅎ The price was amazing, they quoted 660,000 won. It was so cheap I almost fainted. Since the consultant did the consultation instead of the directorㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just let it go in one ear and out the other.

2. ㅇㅇㅎ Director -> consultant consultation There was almost no wait, and after looking at my eyes, the director checked this and that and busily wrote things down on paper. Then they said it seems like buried-suture would still be okay for now. They did speak pretty fast, but they were still kind, and let me ask everything I was curious about. The price was also in the 1 million won range. Since it’s a third surgery, I thought it would be expensive, so I was surprised it was affordable. The consultant was also very kind, and overall I did feel like I could trust them. But the line they designed for me was too natural-looking, so I didn’t really like it. I said I wanted the line to be bigger and more dramatic, but they said if I change my current outline crease to an in-out crease, the line inevitably has to get smaller. But still, it was too smallㅠ

3. ㅇㅇㅇ There was a bit of a wait. It seemed like there were quite a lot of people too. But the director’s voice was seriously insanely quiet. You really have to open your ears wide to hear what they’re saying. It might be better if they talked into a microphone. It was frustrating. They told me to do incisional surgery + fat grafting. I liked the line they designed for me. After finishing, you talk with the consultant, but the consultant was super unfriendly. I just wanted to leave quickly. I’m still thinking about it because fat grafting feels like a lot. They quoted in the 5 million won range too. The price is one thing, but I hate sleep anesthesiaㅜㅜ

I only went to these places, so I think I’ll have to go a few more timesㅠㅠ

Is there no eye-specialty clinic that does local anesthesia….?ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
