It’s been 6 months since my surgery, and I decided on removal, so I went for a consultation at one of the top three places. They said my nose is still too hard and told me to watch it for another 3 months ㅠㅠ They said if it’s still hard after 3 months, then it’s contracture, and at that point complete removal would be impossible, so they would reinforce it by adding ear cartilage. But I honestly want to remove it right now, and what I’m curious about is whether anyone here has had removal surgery while their nose was hard, whether from scar tissue or contracture. I know surgery is harder on a hard nose than on a soft nose, but is it really right to wait until they can determine whether it’s contracture or not …

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
