It’s been over a year and a half since surgery. I used everything in my nose: silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. The shape hasn’t changed or anything, but every now and then my nose throbs like blood is rushing to it. They say it’s because the silicone was placed too far down, but why does the nasal tip done with septal cartilage and ear cartilage turn red? I was 100% sure it was inflammation, but they said it wasn’t. That was the most unexpected part. If I do a full removal, I need to ask again whether they’ll put the septal cartilage back in its original place and whether it’s storage or reinforcement. They said they would remove the silicone and ear cartilage, and fortunately, they said I can go back almost to the nose I had naturally. They said I don’t have to remove it right away…
