I had my 3rd open surgery a month ago, and too much mucous membrane was lost ㅠ On one side where the septal extension is in place, the extension cartilage is completely visible through the mucous membrane ㅠ and the other nostril too ㅠ it feels like the mucous membrane is getting thinner ㅠ ㅠ I think I need to look into mucous membrane reconstruction ㅠ Has anyone here had the same experience? ㅠ I want to die. I originally had no functional problems after my nose surgery, but my nose is so dry and every time I breathe it feels sharp and irritated ㅠ I’m applying Vaseline and wearing a mask ㅠ ㅠ I’m thinking of going for a consultation at Simian, but could mucous membrane reconstruction also have side effects? ㅠ

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
