I had my 3rd open surgery a month ago, and too much mucous membrane was lost On one side where the septal extension is in place, the extension cartilage is completely visible through the mucous membrane and the other nostril too it feels like the mucous membrane is getting thinner I think I need to look into mucous membrane reconstruction Has anyone here had the same experience? I want to die. I originally had no functional problems after my nose surgery, but my nose is so dry and every time I breathe it feels sharp and irritated I’m applying Vaseline and wearing a mask I’m thinking of going for a consultation at Simian, but could mucous membrane reconstruction also have side effects?
