I had surgery without an implant, but the foreign-body sensation is severe and the show-through is also really severeㅠㅠ Especially around the columella, the cartilage is very visible. There’s no inflammation or anything like that, but still, the fact that I can’t freely squish my nose for the rest of my life feels so bleak that I’m thinking about removal. If I remove the septal cartilage from the nasal tip after non-implant nose surgery, can contracture occur? Even if it doesn’t go back to my original nose, after the contraction period passes, will it come down? If anyone here has had septal cartilage removed, please let me know. Thank you.
