Swelling-Reduction Tips I Learned After Revision Rhinoplasty

After my first surgery, even though it was implant-free, the swelling lasted 3 months. When they shaved down the hump, the bruising was so severe that my face sagged and looked ugly, and I was really stressed. And since I’m just naturally prone to swelling, I was shocked when I saw that even my younger sibling’s swelling from silicone only went down after more than a year. Important realization: -Don’t take any supplements at all, including vitamins, for 2 weeks before surgery - this seems to make you bleed less during surgery -Until day 7, do cold compresses extremely diligently; from after day 7, warm compresses twice a day.
