Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

Day 5 after square jaw surgery.

Surgery really isn't something to take lightly. The pain is one thing. On the first day, I had bloody sputum. I had to have a blood tube attached. I couldn't move my neck properly either, and because I kept sitting, I thought I was going to get pressure sores on my butt. When I read reviews in this community, I thought it would still be bearable, but it was hard. Now that it's day 5, it's a bit more livable. My right jaw had too much bleeding, so on the day of surgery they reopened the stitches and removed the blood. I went home like that, then it swelled again and I was hospitalized. The doctor said the swelling on the right side would last a long time, and I think it really will. When you get square jaw surgery, does it swell under the jaw originally? Maybe because my swelling has sagged under my jaw, my face looks 1.5 times longer. The doctor said 70-80% of the swelling would go down in a week, but even the fine left side isn't going down well. Just now I was checking whether the stitches inside my mouth were still there and maybe I touched them wrong, because a little blood came out. I'm so worried it might be inflammation that I feel like I'm dying. So I'm going to try going to the hospital tomorrow. Those who have had surgery, please take good care of yourselves, and those who are thinking about it now, please think about it more^^ There are many variables in surgery. But when should I start warm compresses?
