I had surgery using silicone and donated costal cartilage, and I also corrected the columella, short nose, and bulbous nose, and had revision nostril reduction surgery as well. As the major swelling went down, I wondered how much the remaining minor swelling would affect the shape or line, but as the minor swelling subsided, I felt like the shape and line changed again. The remaining incision scars on the columella and next to both nostrils have also faded to the point where they are hard to see unless you look closely, so I’m very happy. I didn’t apply any separate scar ointment or do any special care, but just like the clinic told me, they gradually improved. Time really is the medicine…
