It’s day 6 after my nose surgery.. I had it done because I looked so, so strange in photos. Whenever I showed people photos, everyone thought they were old photos from before plastic surgery.. There’s still a lot of swelling left, and right after the stitches were removed yesterday, I really looked like a beast itself, but after taking a bath, going to the sauna, and sweating it out, I finally look like a normal person now^^; But the strange thing is, ever since the nose surgery, my bare face without makeup looks pretty to me.. Yesterday I went to the sauna, and when I went in I wore a mask, but when I came out, the swelling had gone down, so I took the mask off as I left, and the male owner said, "You’re pretty even without a mask, so why...?" I was shocked.. Before, when I didn’t wear makeup, I felt like something was really plain and missing, but is my bare face looking better because of the swelling? Have other people who had surgery not had this kind of experience? And are there people whose forehead started looking prettier because of the surgery, or anything like that? I’m wondering if it will go back to how it was before once the swelling goes down... I’m a bit anxious, sniff.. And do you photograph well after surgery? Other people with experience, if your face improved in any way from nose surgery, please leave a reply~ For reference, the doctor said that Gore-Tex was placed at the glabella just enough to lightly cover the original nasal bridge. The nasal tip is ear cartilage!
