My face is a little on the long side, and my chin is less(?) developed, so it is slightly recessed. But I had orthodontic treatment, so my teeth are even. So I went to a clinic in the summer.. and the doctor recommended surgery where they cut the chin using a sandwich method and move it forward... Then today I went to another clinic... and the doctor said that rather than surgery to shave the chin, if an implant (silicone) is inserted into the middle of my original chin, it would shorten the length and bring out the facial contour. And I had also looked into paranasal augmentation.. and they said that because my skin is not sagging, but rather the bone is recessed, Gore-Tex should be inserted. The surgical methods recommended by the two clinics were so different that I was extremely worried about what to do. Then I went to yet another clinic... and this time, that doctor looked at my condition and said cutting the chin tip in a sandwich style would be a bit of a waste(?), and that even if silicone is cut as desired for implant insertion, there are limits, so they recommended injectable contouring, and because my nose is large compared with my face, they recommended rhinoplasty. The injectable contouring is not fat grafting, (they said fat grafting gets absorbed quickly..) I do not remember the exact name... but anyway, they said it is permanent.. So I asked 2-3 times, “Is it really permanent?” and they said it is permanent.. and that I could get the first session and supplement it later. Since every clinic says such different things.. I do not know which doctor’s words I should trust and follow..ㅠㅠ Injectable contouring............ Is that really permanent?? ........................................................... Anyway, after worrying like this every single day, today I finally had nose surgery and injectable contouring at the last clinic. I have had nose surgery 3 times.. but my nose was large compared with my face, and anyway it really was not good, so I decided to trust that doctor. So I had nose surgery, and had paranasal augmentation and chin-tip contouring done with injections. But the doctors’ opinions are all so different... even now after surgery, it still feels unclear(?)..ㅠ_ㅠ Still, since I already did it, I am going to endure it and watch the progress... Right now my nose is wrapped in a bandage, so I cannot tell the shape, and the paranasal area is also covered by the nose bandage..ㅠ_ㅠ Only the chin tip is visible to my eyes.. Anyway, it is fascinating, and for now I like it..^^;;; But I am worried it may not be permanent. Anyway... I will watch the progress, and if it looks okay, I will upload photos...
