I have a severe deviated septum, so I’m considering surgery, but the issue is that I like intense sports like basketball and soccer, and I don’t really feel uncomfortable when sleeping. One side of my nose is blocked, but it hasn’t really bothered me in daily life, and I don’t have rhinitis. The real problem is that when I take photos from the front, my nose looks so crooked, and because my temporomandibular joint is also slightly asymmetric, it looks even more crooked. This is the only thing that bothers me, but when I read posts about side effects or revision surgery, I get really worried. Would it be better to do it or not do it?
