I had it done with a buried-suture method at Jinju Hyundai Plastic Surgery. I thought it was a buried-suture method, but it wasn't. It was a method where they stitched through the eyes with very thick thread, left it for a few days, then removed the thread and used the resulting scar to fix the line. I had it done almost 3 years ago, and the result became like an inner double eyelid, just as I wanted, so I'm satisfied with the result. But when they removed the stitches after surgery, it hurt so, so much, and my eyelashes stayed lifted for about a month. I agonized for a long time over whether I should undo it, and spent nights in tears. Also, when I close my eyes, there are still tiny marks? holes from where the needle passed through, faintly enough that only I can tell, and I hate that. Still, people say buried-suture double eyelids come undone easily, but mine didn't come undone and just became like an inner double eyelid, so I'm satisfied. But if I were to choose again, even if the fixation were shallow and likely to loosen, I'd want to do it somewhere that doesn't hurt.
