There is undeniably a side of our country that is very lenient about radiation exposure, but you probably know that frequent and high exposure to radiation can cause cancer and greatly affect the body's genes. CT in particular has a radiation dose that is incomparably higher than X-rays, and once you get scanned and are exposed, for the time being it is better not to create additional occasions for radiation exposure, such as extra CT scans or X-ray imaging.
