I am 3 months post-op from nasal bridge revision surgery. I have had nose surgery 7 times, and the last thing I had done was 1 mm silicone in the nasal bridge. They say this is meaningless, is that right? The nasal bridge repeatedly turns red, so I am thinking of removing it. Has anyone reinforced the nasal bridge with ear fascia? I did not realize it when I was young, but as I get older, it seems like my skin cannot withstand it after all. My biggest concern now is that the nasal bridge turns red and then gets better repeatedly. The clinic where I had surgery says it is because blood circulation is not good, and that I need to give it time, so they told me not to touch the surgical area. Since it really is 1 mm silicone, it probably makes almost no difference whether it is there or not, right?
