Honestly, I didn’t have surgery while anxiously worrying like other people about whether it would hurt or how much it would cost. My mom just said there was a plastic surgery clinic she knew well, so I went intending only to get a consultation, but the doctor asked, “Do you want to just do it today?” so I quickly got it done and came back.. -_-;; The anesthesia really hurts. I’m actually very good at tolerating pain, but the nose and eyes are sensitive areas, so it really did hurt. I had both my eyes and nose done. The surgery took about 2 hours. Well, except for the anesthesia hurting, it was manageable. I don’t know if it’s because I have bandages on right now, but my eyes aren’t swollen at all. My nose too;; Only the bandages being on is uncomfortable, and it doesn’t hurt at all..;; They say everyone has a different constitution, and I guess I’m the type who doesn’t feel much and doesn’t swell much. But I could hear the sound of the silicone being inserted and the sound of flesh being cut.. Well, since it was surgery anyway, I just accepted it;; Before this, I had never had a knife put to my body even once. I’m quite brave, so I watched cosmetic surgery videos without mosaic blurring before going;; But what I felt was that for people who are timid, surgery would be really hard. When the doctor said in between, “Open your eyes,” when I opened my eyes, seeing gauze wiped with my blood was common, and I saw the scalpel too, and I even saw the scissors and the needle for stitching skin; because I had epicanthoplasty too, I saw the needle coming toward my eye area;; People who are timid would probably be trembling while doing it;; The end of the eye area was not anesthetized, so I felt all the pain.;;; If I describe it in detail, people planning surgery might find it too horrifying and be unable to do it, so I won’t say more.. I had it done in Gangnam, and the doctor was really kind. He must be good because he has been doing this for a long time. I can’t really tell right now because I can’t see well, but my family all looked and said it was very pretty. They all said they wanted to do it too.. Even when I open my eyes dimly like this, my nose does seem to be standing high.. Has it been over 5 hours since surgery now? But it doesn’t hurt at all;; I got my nasal bridge raised, nasal tip surgery, incisional double eyelid surgery, and epicanthoplasty all done at once. Because the surgery time was long, when the surgery ended my body temperature had dropped, so I felt cold. The only advice I can give is;; if you’re going to have surgery anyway and there are things you want to do, just group them together and do them all at once. After having surgery once, I don’t want to have surgery ever again. I forgot the pain, but just the operating room itself feels unpleasant, you know;; The doctor said epicanthoplasty isn’t something just anyone can do. There has to be some space between the eyes where it can be opened, and in my case my eyes were a little far apart, so he said it would look pretty if I did it, so I did. When the doctor was giving anesthesia, he kept saying, like a pediatrician, “Oh no, it hurts, what should we do,” so even during surgery it felt like someone I knew was doing it, which made me comfortable;; My mother knows him, but;; it was my first time seeing him;; It hurts less than I thought.. If you’re going to do it, do it lol It’s exactly like getting your ears pierced. When one kid gets it pierced every day, the kids who haven’t ask, “Does it hurt? Does it hurt?” but once you actually do it, it’s nothing much; making up your mind seems to be the hard part. Think carefully, though, since it is still putting a knife to your body.
