My natural nose is on the upturned side, and now I’m leaning toward having absolutely everything fully removed because of repeated inflammatory reactions, nasal bridge depression, and difficulty breathing. During consultations, some places said that if I only remove everything, the nasal tip will turn up, so the nasal tip needs to be lowered with ear cartilage. One place said my natural nose and my current operated nose do not look that different, so even if I have everything removed, it will probably look similar to now. But I do think there is still a difference between before and after surgery. Is there anyone here who, like me, had an upturned nose and had everything completely removed?
