About 2 weeks ago, I had septoplasty and a surgery called submucosal resection of the inferior turbinate, and on Thursday, May 4, I had the Silastic removed. But after removing the Silastic, the way I can breathe feels strange. Before surgery, when I inhaled deeply through my nose, I could breathe, but after surgery, when I inhale through my nose, I can’t breathe deeply and only breathe shallowly. Even though the nasal congestion I had before surgery is completely gone. Just in case, I searched for my symptoms: excessive air entering through the nose, a feeling that the breath hits from the nose down to the throat, inability to breathe deeply, etc…
